COMMUNITY

Yumpla Nerkep Foundation’s mission is to support the work for more positive steps in developing concerted actions to improve the standard of living and economic health of First Nation and Torres Strait Island communities.

Our very name (Yumpla – you me place, Nerkep – from the heart) indicates the strength of our and our partner’s commitment to assisting communities in the areas of health, education, employment, the entertainment industry, and business development.

And we do it all through our corporate partners’ input through a percentage of turnover, corporate advice and assistance, philanthropic endowments, memberships, and donations.

We do not rely entirely on government assistance or grants. This is our people supporting our people.
